Welton Energy and Youth groups
We’re so pleased that the Welton Energy and Youth groups are now meeting together again in person. For details of about each of our Energy and Youth groups please click here for Energy and here for Welton Youth.
Housegroup's will be re-starting this week. Would you like to join one? We believe that our house-groups are an essential part of church life, and even more so during these times. Growing deeper friendships and trust often happens within house-groups as well as discipleship. We have lots of different house-groups, some mixed groups, some for women, some for men, some during the day and others in the evenings. Some meet every week and some meet 'as and when', so we hope that you can find one that suits your needs. All groups have been meeting online but many are now also beginning to meet face to face. If you are interested in joining a group or would like more information please contact Matt at email@example.com
Welton Church Runners
Welton Church Runners meet every Saturday, come rain or shine or lockdown, at 9am outside the Somer Centre in Midsomer Norton in line with the current government guidelines. Walkers are also welcome. Please contact Eugene Kertzman for more information (01761 434229).
Foodbank Needs for September
Hello once again, everyone.
As most of you will know from my previous newsletter, we are having to move from our current warehouse in the near future. We are reducing our stock levels accordingly and therefore would ask you to kindly donate any Harvest Festival collections to charities other than the Foodbank this year.
Please find attached the poster of the warehouse needs for September and also, listed below, the items of which we have ample supplies for the time being, thank you. We'd be most grateful if you could feature both lists in your newsletters where possible, please.
NOT REQUIRED, THANK YOU :
Vegetarian beans and pulses.
With very many thanks for all you are doing to ensure that our Foodbank continues to run smoothly,
Somer Valley Foodbank
