Sunbeams

What do we do?

We are currently open during term time on Tuesdays from 9:00am until 10.45am. We meet in the Old Town Hall in Midsomer Norton. During each session we have various age appropriate toys available such as Happy Street, buggies, see-saw, wooden puzzles, sit on rides, baby gyms etc. We have designated play areas and also a craft table where children and their parent/carer can make something together.
Our main special summer event takes place during N'Fest where we set up Sunbeams at the venue and make contacts with many new families.

Half way through the morning we have refreshments, the children have a drink and healthy snack and tea and coffee is available for adults throughout the morning. Ten minutes before the end, we have a singing time to finish our time together. There is no charge for those attending.

Welcome

Who are we?

members
We are a church of people from all walks of life who share the common goal of following Jesus and being open about Him with others in our everyday lives. The church is vibrant with lots going on for people of all ages and backgrounds. We’re engaged in local and global mission, and passionately believe that every person has a part to play. We follow Christian Bible teaching, believing it’s through a loving relationship with Jesus Christ that we can experience life in its fullest and have the security of knowing we’ll live forever with God.

We’re part of the local Baptist Association and we are members of the Evangelical Alliance, and regularly connect with the local Churches in our area for prayer and community outreach.

Head to our 'What's on' tab to check out how you can get involved with us.

What is our vision?

We are a Church with a clear vision. It's sourced in the Bible and expressed in these simples phrases:

Coming up images
The 'how' we do these things is a bigger story and one you can learn about by checking out other pages on our site. God has called each of us to be a part of His mission in this life, full of purpose, and confident as His sons and daughters. It's a vision we would love for you to explore with us. Church is not just about Sundays, and we aim to see our faith in Jesus impact every part of our lives, and those around us.
