Paul starts with the conflict between our agenda and God's, between our desire for independence and our need for dependence on God and the fact that we must openly thank God for what he has done for us and come to him on his terms. He moves on to the 10 lepers that were healed and that only one came back to thank Jesus and was made "whole", not just healed.
