The final word – Paul Evans – Sunday evening 16th August 09

John 21:20-25. Like the final word at the end of a sermon (as Mike does), Paul uses these verses from the end of John's gospel account to show how a good message is finished with a pithy and concise final word. This one concludes with a “triple A” rating: an Assessment of Jesus' life, an Admission of failure (Jesus doesn't fit into books very well) and an Acknowledgement of who Jesus is. There is really no final word after that – Jesus is the final Word!
